purchase agreement:
You agree to the following:
1) you are competent on building 3d printers and have at least built one in the past relating to reprap project. you are stating that you can figure things out on your own if you need to and are mechanically inclined, and can make replacement parts, modifications, and get things from hardware store, if they break or wear out.
2) you have read the reprap forum, and understand extruders, fire safety and also that you agree to get a fire detector in your home before use. you also agree to take full ownership of responsibility of the unit and agree that you are competent in issues relating to safety of this machine or any changes and modifications to the machine.
3) You agree to the following terms for sale. you understand that if i determine that I do not have capacity to fulfill your order, that i will provide a full refund at the time i determine this. it usually will be within 2 days of purchase, but can go up and till the point it ships to you. the reasons for not meeting capacity can be but not limited to the following: lack of supplies such as an issue with a world events and shipping , cnc process issues, or being lead to believe that selling to you would pose a risk. you agree to the responsibility of the unit once the parts arrive, and you agree that at any point in time up until delivery your order can be canceled.
4) you are getting a kit. you will be able to built it into a 3d printer, but it requires patience and understanding of thermal dynamics, engineering mechanics, and software programming capabilities. You are responsible for it working, and i give no promise as to its function. you may need to modify, trim parts, and tinker a bit to get things working right. this is the nature of a kt.
5) redesign by time of shipment. you agree that the kit you are purchasing is allowed to evolve and change without any notice. profounddevices will make parts available for earlier designs for up to 1 year.
6) you agree that if you need parts replaced because of defects or broken issues that they are related to shipping, and arrival of kit. you agree to inspect kit and make note of anything missing, anything broken, and report to profounddevices within 2 weeks of kit arrival. you also agree that the first shipment of ordered parts replaced will be shipped free, but after that you will buy the replacement parts and pay shipping.
7) you agree to wait 3-8 weeks for your item to arrive. time should be around 3-4weeks but it can be longer if there are issues with shipping, or suppliers. you agree that profounddevices only is required to notify you of your order status changes thru the shipping page, and you agree to look at the shipping status page for shipping details or delays.
